Artists regularly put so much into completing a project that there’s little left to help get it out into the world. Their energy is spent, their money is spent, but the real work is just beginning. Too often this means that artists miss out on special opportunities that have the potential to help their work get noticed in the world.

The Gift

Your gift will provide an artist with airfare to get to a festival, premiere, or other important event that they would otherwise have to miss. Creative Capital provides its artists with access to a “special opportunities" fund, which has 1) helped filmmakers whose movies were accepted into the Sundance attend the festival and publicize their work; 2) traveled artists to exhibitions and performances when their work was presented internationally; and 3) allowed artists to work with and train under master artists in their discipline. Creative Capital makes these funds available to the artists quickly and easily so that they can take advantage of key moments and not have to watch them pass by.
