The federal law that is meant to serve very young children with autism is not working as it should, creating longer than acceptable delays.

The More Than Words book shows parents how to communicate more effectively with their child with hands-on and motivating research-validated strategies.

The book is an adjunct to a more comprehensive therapy program, but it will help empower parents and give them skill-building confidence to push through the "system" until treatment under publicly funded programs becomes available to them. The book is better than nothing--as they wait for the papers to shuffle.
